Outside my window the Sun is shining or it was a moment ago, now it’s clouded over a bit, but anyway the point I’m trying to make is that warmer weather is on the way and the opportunity to ride our bicycles more in the longer daylight hours is upon us. In the shop, far and away the greatest number of enquiries are about Electrically Assisted Bicycles – Ebikes – and the reasons for the interest make a lot of sense:

At New Image Bicycles, we are majoring this year on the Raleigh Motus range, which consists of a spread of models from £1700 to £2200 all featuring the Bosch centre motor, European style upright frames, hydraulic disc brakes and mudguards. They really are a sensible solution and worth a test ride either on our indoor virtual reality rig, or even better, outside in the real world as long as the weather is dry.

( Of course we also offer cheaper hub -motor powered bikes as well, Including the folding Raleigh Stow-e-Way, as well as sportier recreational machines for off-roaders or ageing racers…)
